    I am in chongqing now.i miss the days spent with you.i write to you now because there is a friend named Rachel help my english.Just like you do it before.

    I visited your trax2 to find your profile,but can't find it.I am sure there must have somethiing like that.maybe i missed it due to my poor english.

    Have you sent the picture we took in yangshuo online?If so,I can see right now.

    After i left yangshuo,then i went to longji with boy (xiao nan jing).Contrary i like the place.The weather was so beautiful there the pity thing was that we were too tired to see the sunset.

    I got a lot of trouble on the way to chongqing ,but i also saw a lot interesting sights and made lot good friends.

    To my reliefe,only you can understand my chineseish e

    Everything is back to "normal" -- after all the festivities, (National Day (1949-2001) and Mid Autumn Festival) with record peoples traveling around - next major events will be the APEX Meeting, WTO and of course the World Cup (soccer) -- 08:49:47 10/12/01

    3 days -- and counting, this year the national day (1949-2001) and Mid Autumn Festival - Moon Festival - have fallen on the same day - happens every 19 years - so this calls for a double celebrations, but here in Yangshuo there's just lots of people milling around, letting off fireworks. -- 22:57:20 10/04/01

    Full Moon -- Moon cakes, lanterns, flowers, people, people, people everywhere. Festivities start early going into the wee hours of the night - this is not a wise time to travel anywhere in China, as this is the biggest national holidays in the year with literally millions moving around, transport is near impossible to catch and all room rates double/triple. It's a good time to stay put and that for me is in Yangshou, soaking up all the action/fun. -- 22:44:42 09/30/01

      It's going to be even more festive in a couple of days (Oct 7, 7:30pm, to be exact) when the Chinese soccer team, favored to win, plays aginst Oman in the World Cup qualifying game in ShenYang. I don't know how far that is from where you are now. But I'm sure it's gonna be bigtime festive all over the country if China indeed wins the match and their firstever entry into the World Cup! -- 15:47:35 10/04/01

    Aussie makes ass-hole of himself -- and I'm not talking of me, but an "Tour Leader" from Intrepid that arrived at 6 this morning - 6 to 7 hours early then expected - demands to have rooms ready and when told no rooms are ready till 12 noon threatens that no other group will ever use this hotel again. Hotel is full with Dutch, French and other groups. What will the think of Intrepid/Aus?? Makes me ashamed to call myself Australian!

      Your mistaken views of Tour Leaders -- A bystander to the incident recounts:

      I think Mr. Lam has had half baked information prior to publishing some preposterous insinuations against Australian Tour Leaders or Tour Guides whatever he wishes to address them as without knowing or outlining the gravity of the situation.
      It is quite easy to put your pen down to words about situations but it would be sensible of the person making the comment to know some background details before making statements,

      I am very sorry for this person who has had a total lack of judgement in his observations to make such nonsensical claims.

      Hope your future efforts could be spent well on more worthy pursuits, Mr. Lam. You sure must be ashamed of yourself for lacking in sound judgement of situations. Feel sorry for you mate.-- 10:06:59 09/28/01
