4 Days/3 Nights* Minorities Adventure that covers the northern Dong, Miao, Zhuang and Yao minorities areas, spending the night right in the heart of Dong territory in the village of Maan right beside the famous Chengyang "Wind and Rain" Bridge then down to the Zhuang village of Pingan where you can watch the sunrise over the Longji "Dragon Backbone" Terraced rice fields

       DAY 1 LD
After breakfast we hop on board our transport to start our 4 - 5 hour journey northward, heading straight for Changyang Bridge. Arriving for lunch in Maan Village.
After an introductory tour of the village, ending at the Old Drum Tower we will be treated with a performance from the Local Village Dance Group. For diner we will sample the Dong cuisine of "Sour Duck, Sour Fish".
       DAY 2 BLD
Today, for breakfast, you may like to try the "Dong Oily Tea", eaten as a breakfast or as a snack by the Dong People. After, the choice will be yours of walking around the many Dong villages
or take the Extra Excursion** to the only Miao Village set amongst all the Dong Villages (see map), high up a mountain pass.
       DAY 3 BLD
With breakfast over we board our transport for the 2 hour plus ride to the Zhuang village of Pingan, at 880m high and set on top of the contoured rice terraced fields. After lunch a walk around the scenic areas is a must (see pic below). Diner will be a chance to try some of the Zhuang specialties, "Fish steamed in Bamboo".
       DAY 4 BL
An early tour of "The Old Longji Village", then back for lunch, before we make our descent down the mountain where our waiting transport will take us back to Guilin. From there transfer to other connections or another LifeStyle Adventure or develop your own "LifeStyle Adventure" with us.
