continues Temperature continues to fall in Guilin - temps are now down to minus 3°C. As with all housing in Southern China (Shanghai down) the buildings are not designed for the cold - results its warmer in the refrigerator than inside the house

Officials have declared "1 dead and 9 injured". Unofficially 4 die and 12 injured. No one has claimed responsibility.

No more official news about the bombing - in the Newspapers or TV - it as if it has not happened at all. Lots of humors about, but 2 that is popular is - someone wanted to suicide and strapped explosives around his waist and set it off in the middle of the Square in Guilin. The other is that the bomb was set off by someone who lost in the Sport Lottery Draw. The only thing in common is now the bomb happened in the middle of Guilin at the Square to cause the most damage as at this time of the year it is the most popular and fill with the most tourists.

Bus collides with truck from Longsheng to Guilin. This route is through mountainous areas and therefore it is not advisable to take the local buses as the picture above illustrate.
